In order for White Raven Healing & Wellness to provide the high quality services and care it is known for, the following Policies, Acknowledgements & Guidelines have been established.
By contacting White Raven Healing & Wellness to schedule an appointment:
- you hereby voluntarily request and consent to receive these services from White Raven Healing & Wellness, and its practitioner(s): massage therapy, reiki energy healing, reiki energy healing training, spiritual response therapy, spiritual coaching/counseling and/or licensed ministry, and all services contained within the scopes of those practices
- you understand the services you are receiving from White Raven Healing & Wellness, and its practitioner(s), either from previous personal experience or by written (web, text, email) or verbal (phone, in-person) explanation and if you’re confused at any time you will ask questions to get clarity
- in no way are these services meant to be construed as the diagnosis or cure for any condition or disease, but rather as an aid to improving your general wellness and quality of life
- your health and well being are your responsibility and experiencing optimal wellness may require you to make lifestyle changes and/or seek the treatment of other enlightened health care and/or medical professionals outside of the treatment you receive at White Raven Healing & Wellness by its practitioner(s) for any physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual ailment you may have and may receive guidance during treatment sessions to do so
- you will update White Raven Healing & Wellness and/or your attending practitioner(s) of any change(s) in your health and release them from responsibility in the event you are negatively impacted by the service(s) you receive as a result of not informing them of the change(s)
- you release White Raven Healing & Wellness, and its practitioner(s), from responsibility in the event you are negatively impacted by the service(s) you receive as a result of not informing them of all of your health conditions, diseases, ailments, medications and supplements or from refusing to seek additional help for your current and continued state of health and well being if you should need it or it has been suggested to you during a treatment session
- the guidance you receive during your session(s) at White Raven Healing & Wellness is intended for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis or treatment by an enlightened health care practitioner skilled in treating you as a whole being and not just a collection of symptoms
- White Raven Healing & Wellness, and its practitioner(s), does not diagnose conditions, prescribe substances, perform medical treatments or interfere with the treatment of other licensed medical and/or health care practitioners
- if you experience any discomfort during any session, you will immediately communicate that so the treatment can be adjusted or terminated
- long term imbalances, on any level, sometimes require multiple treatments to bring the system back into balance
- you are entering a strictly therapeutic relationship with White Raven Healing & Wellness and its practitioner(s)
- any illicit, romantic, lewd or sexually suggestive remarks, advances, innuendos, behavior and/or insinuations will result in the immediate termination of your treatment session and the client-therapist relationship, you will be banished from the premises and future scheduling, you will be charged in full and any contact thereafter with White Raven Healing & Wellness and/or its practitioner(s) via any method will be interpreted as harassment subject to law enforcement
- it is Florida law that you be properly draped at all times during your massage therapy treatment sessions to maintain ethics and healthy boundaries and must be given total privacy to undress and dress
- White Raven Healing & Wellness, and its practitioner(s), reserves the right to refuse any and all clients and services at any time during any treatment session for any reason and you will be charged in full
- you reserve the right to refuse any and all practitioners and services at any time during any treatment session for any reason and will not be charged in full
- promptness is expected for all appointments, so in the event you are going to be more than 10 minutes late due to a non-emergency, you will notify White Raven Healing & Wellness and/or your attending practitioner(s) as soon as possible and understand your appointment time may be cut short so the schedule for the day may be maintained and will be required to pay full price
- payment is due at or before time of service
- preferred methods of payment accepted include: Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal and all major credit cards; no cash is kept at the business for the safety of White Raven Healing & Wellness and/or the attending practitioner(s), so please plan to pay accordingly
- cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and no-call – no-shows will be charged a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service
- if you cannot make your appointment due to an unforeseen emergency on the day of, you will contact White Raven Healing & Wellness and/or your attending practitioner(s) as soon as possible otherwise you will be considered a no-call – no-show and will be subject to the associated charges
- if you are not feeling well the day of your scheduled appointment and are exhibiting signs of a contagious infection (rash, hives, fever, chills, unexplained migraine/headache, body aches, sore throat with cough and chest congestion, etc.), you, or someone on your behalf, will notify White Raven Healing & Wellness, and/or your attending practitioner(s), as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment otherwise you will be considered a no-call – no-show and will be subject to the associated charges
- your information will be kept strictly confidential, with the exception of your written consent or as required by law
- White Raven Healing & Wellness is a scent-free environment so you will refrain from wearing heavily scented perfumes, colognes, mists, sprays, lotions, creams and oils
- it may be necessary for you to obtain medical release if required by White Raven Healing & Wellness, and/or its practitioner(s), for any specific health conditions you have listed on the client intake form or mention verbally
- you are subject to a search on the internet and any other information sources to confirm your identity and any other information that may be considered to determine your eligibility as a potential client
