I’m Ava, and my passion is helping people experience a better quality of life—whether through massage, Reiki Energy Healing, Spiritual Response Therapy, or simply creating a space where people can slow down, breathe, and feel a little more like themselves.

I’ve spent more than 20 years working across health and personal care, spiritual counseling, transformational work, and independent business ownership.

Along the way, I also took an unexpected detour into the corporate world—and I’m incredibly grateful that I did. Those years taught me a great deal about communication, organization, systems, leadership, problem-solving, and what it takes to create an environment where people can actually function well. Many of those lessons continue to shape how I run White Raven today. Eventually, though, I felt the pull back toward the work that has always felt most meaningful to me: helping people.

I believe the healing journey deserves honesty. It isn’t always peaceful or comfortable, and it certainly isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. Sometimes growth asks us to sit with things that are difficult, unfamiliar, or painful. Sometimes we simply need a place where we don’t have to hold everything together for a little while.

My hope is that when you spend time with me, you experience some combination of relief, relaxation, laughter, perspective, and peace—and that you can carry a little of that feeling with you when you leave.

And yes, I am still known to say a silly thing or two. I firmly believe healing and humor are allowed to coexist.
